Biography & Early Wealth Journey
KSI was a core member of the Sidemen from 2013 until 2026, helping turn the YouTube collective into an entertainment and consumer-products business with multiple channels, merchandise, restaurants, alcohol, subscription content, and hugely successful charity events. He has also released the hit albums "Dissimulation" and "All Over the Place," helped popularize influencer boxing, co-founded Misfits Boxing, and became a full-time judge on "Britain's Got Talent."
One of KSI's most important business ventures is Prime Hydration, which he launched with his former boxing rival Logan Paul in 2022. A federal court order released in 2026 confirmed that KSI and Logan each own 20% of Prime. Although the brand generated enormous sales during its initial viral boom, its subsequent slowdown makes any precise valuation of KSI's stake highly speculative. His other ventures include Lunchly, Baller League UK, and a 20% stake in English soccer club Dagenham & Redbridge.
Early Life
KSI was born Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji on June 19, 1993, in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. His mother, Yinka, is from London, and his father, Jide, is from Nigeria. His younger brother, Deji, also became a successful YouTube personality and boxer.
Primary Income Streams & Multi-Million Contracts
KSI attended Berkhamsted School, where he met Simon Minter, who would later become one of his Sidemen collaborators. He began pursuing YouTube while still in school and eventually left sixth-form college after his gaming videos started generating significant income.
His online name originated from "KSI," a gaming-community name, combined with Olajide and "BT," a reference that appeared in his early username KSIOlajideBT.
YouTube Career and the Sidemen
KSI launched his first YouTube channel under the name "JideJunior" in 2008 and created the "KSIOlajideBT" account in July 2009. His early content focused heavily on the "FIFA" video game series, with KSI combining gameplay with exaggerated reactions, jokes, and commentary. He later expanded into vlogs, sketches, challenges, reaction videos, and music, reaching one million subscribers in 2012.

Real Estate, Luxury Assets & Personal Investments
In 2013, KSI signed with Polaris, a sub-network of Maker Studios, and became part of the Sidemen alongside Simon Minter, Josh Bradley, Tobi Brown, Ethan Payne, Vikram Barn, and Harry Lewis. The group eventually grew far beyond gaming. Its channels generated billions of views through travel challenges, comedy, sports, competitions, and large-scale weekly productions.
The Sidemen also became a substantial business operation. Ventures developed by the group have included Sidemen Clothing, the Sides restaurant brand, XIX Vodka, Side+ subscriptions, trading cards, and major live events. Their charity soccer matches grew from comparatively small events into stadium spectacles, including a sold-out Wembley Stadium match in 2025 that raised millions of pounds for charity.
KSI appeared to leave the Sidemen during a highly publicized series of diss tracks in 2017, but that was not a genuine permanent departure. He remained one of the group's central members for almost another nine years.
On May 31, 2026, KSI announced that he was actually stepping away from appearing in Sidemen videos. He said there had been no falling-out and explained that the demands of his other businesses, television work, music, and personal life had made it increasingly difficult to give the group the commitment it required.

Boxing Career
KSI played an important role in establishing influencer boxing as a legitimate pay-per-view business. His first major fight came against fellow YouTuber Joe Weller in February 2018. KSI won by third-round TKO in an event that attracted more than a million live viewers online.
He subsequently challenged Logan Paul. Their first fight took place at Manchester Arena in August 2018 and ended in a majority draw. Roughly one million viewers reportedly purchased the official pay-per-view broadcast, with millions more following the event through clips and unauthorized streams.
KSI and Logan fought again professionally at Staples Center in Los Angeles in November 2019. Each received a guaranteed purse of at least $900,000 before other compensation, and KSI won by split decision.
After several years away from boxing, KSI returned in 2022 and defeated Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda on the same night. He later defeated FaZe Temperrr. His 2023 fight with Joe Fournier was initially ruled a KSI victory but was changed to a no contest after replay showed that the finishing strike involved an illegal elbow.
Later that year, KSI lost a decision to Tommy Fury. In early 2026, KSI said he was finished with boxing and had turned down a lucrative opportunity to fight Jake Paul, although he subsequently softened that statement and described himself as being on a break rather than definitively retired.
Misfits Boxing
KSI became more than a fighter when he helped launch Misfits Boxing. The promotion built an entire business around crossover fights involving internet personalities, musicians, reality stars, MMA veterans, and conventional boxers.
Misfits partnered with DAZN on the "MF & DAZN: X Series," giving influencer boxing a regular schedule rather than limiting it to occasional one-off events. KSI has remained closely associated with the promotion even as his own fighting schedule slowed.
Music Career
KSI began releasing music while his YouTube career was still centered largely on gaming. In 2015, he released "Lamborghini," featuring P Money, which reached #30 on the UK Singles Chart. He followed with the EPs "Keep Up," "Jump Around," "Space," and "Disstracktions."
His debut studio album, "Dissimulation," was released in May 2020 and reached #2 on the UK Albums Chart. The album included "Down Like That," featuring Rick Ross, Lil Baby, and S-X, along with "Wake Up Call," featuring Trippie Redd, and "Poppin," "Houdini," and "Killa Killa."
KSI's second album, "All Over the Place," debuted at #1 in the UK in 2021. Its singles included "Really Love," "Don't Play," "Holiday," and "No Time." He also collaborated with Lil Wayne on "Lose."
Later singles included "Not Over Yet" and "Thick of It," the latter featuring Trippie Redd. Although "Thick of It" became the subject of widespread internet mockery and memes after its 2024 release, the attention also translated into commercial success, and the song reached the Top 10 in the United Kingdom.
Prime Hydration
KSI and Logan Paul turned their former boxing rivalry into a business partnership when they launched Prime Hydration in January 2022 with the entrepreneurs behind Congo Brands. Prime was promoted heavily through the pair's social-media audiences and quickly became a global viral phenomenon.
Demand was especially intense during the brand's first two years. Prime secured major retail distribution, expanded into Prime Energy, and signed sports partnerships involving Arsenal, the UFC, and numerous athletes. Reported global sales surged beyond $1 billion during the peak of the frenzy.
For years, it was unclear exactly how much of the business KSI and Logan owned. That changed in July 2026 when a federal court order in litigation involving Prime stated that the two men each hold a 20% ownership stake.
Knowing the percentage does not establish the value. Prime is privately held, and its sales have declined sharply from their peak. The company's UK subsidiary reported turnover falling from £112.2 million in 2023 to £32.8 million in 2024. For that reason, assigning KSI's 20% stake a precise hundreds-of-millions-of-dollars paper value would be speculative.
Other Business Ventures and Television
In 2024, KSI partnered with Logan Paul and MrBeast to launch Lunchly, a packaged-meal brand incorporating Prime beverages and MrBeast's Feastables products.
KSI also became president of Baller League UK, a six-a-side soccer competition involving former professional players, creators, and celebrity managers.
His television profile expanded significantly through "Britain's Got Talent." After appearing as a guest judge, he was named a full-time judge for the show's 2026 season alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon.
In March 2026, KSI acquired a 20% stake in Dagenham & Redbridge FC. He became both a shareholder and strategic partner in the lower-league club and said his ultimate ambition was to help take it up the English soccer pyramid. Soon after investing, he streamed one of the club's matches free on his YouTube channel, giving the team international exposure it would not ordinarily receive.
Charity and Awards
KSI has participated in numerous charitable campaigns, including "Comic Relief," "Stand Up To Cancer," "Children in Need," and "Sport Relief." His donations and fundraising have supported SpecialEffect, food-relief programs, homelessness initiatives, and organizations serving Black communities.
The Sidemen charity soccer matches became an especially significant fundraising vehicle, eventually generating millions of pounds for charities.
KSI received a Diamond Creator Award from YouTube and was named Vlogger of the Year at the 2016 NME Awards. His music has earned nominations from the BRIT Awards, MOBO Awards, Global Awards, and other organizations, and he won Personality of the Year at the 2022 Rated Awards.
Personal Life
KSI is a longtime supporter of Arsenal F.C. and has appeared on Arsenal fan media. His business relationship with Prime eventually connected him commercially with the club as well.
In 2012, KSI faced criticism over his conduct toward women during a Eurogamer event and was subsequently banned from future editions of the convention. Model Brandy Brewer, who appeared in one widely circulated clip, later stated publicly that the physical comedy bit involving her had been consensual.
KSI has generally kept his romantic life relatively private despite discussing nearly every other aspect of his career publicly.
Real Estate
In a 2020 interview with "Men's Health," KSI said he owned more than 10 homes in England with a combined value exceeding £10 million. His property investments gave him a substantial conventional asset base before Prime became the dominant subject of speculation around his fortune.
In late 2021, KSI moved out of a flat he had shared with a friend and reportedly moved into a London-area home valued at roughly £10 million.
