Biography & Early Wealth Journey
By the final season of the original "Jersey Shore," JWoww was reportedly earning approximately $100,000 per episode. Her compensation for "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" was never publicly confirmed, but the revival gave her another eight years of steady reality-TV income on top of endorsement deals, appearances, merchandise, and business ventures.
Farley has increasingly expanded beyond appearing in reality television. She launched the Heavenly Flower apparel brand, became an advocate for sensory accessibility after her son's autism diagnosis, and moved into filmmaking. She wrote, directed, and produced the 2024 horror movie "Devon," then followed it with the psychological thriller "Nanny Cam." In June 2026, Farley married professional wrestler Zack Carpinello in a surprise ceremony staged for guests as a screening of "Nanny Cam."
Early Life
Jennifer Lynn Farley was born on February 27, 1986, in East Greenbush, New York. She attended Columbia High School and later studied at the New York Institute of Technology.
Primary Income Streams & Multi-Million Contracts
Before becoming famous, Farley worked as a nanny and pursued graphic design. She started her own business, Jenni Farley Designs Inc., and was living in Franklin Square on Long Island when she auditioned for the reality show that would completely change her life.
Although "Jersey Shore" became famous for its heavily Italian-American cast and culture, Farley did not grow up identifying as Italian. Years later, she took a DNA test and discovered that she did have a small amount of Italian ancestry.

"Jersey Shore"
Farley was 23 when "Jersey Shore" premiered on MTV in December 2009. The series followed eight housemates living and partying together while spending the summer in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
Using the nickname JWoww, Farley quickly became one of the show's most recognizable personalities. Her friendship with Snooki became particularly important to the series, while her arguments, romantic relationships, and confrontations with other housemates supplied many of its memorable storylines.
The first season became a surprise cultural phenomenon. The cast subsequently filmed in Miami for season two, returned to Seaside Heights for season three, and traveled to Florence, Italy, for season four before returning to New Jersey for the final two seasons.
Wealth Trajectory & Future Earnings Projections
JWoww starred alongside cast members including Snooki, Pauly D, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Deena Cortese, and Angelina Pivarnick.
The cast's compensation rose dramatically as the show became one of MTV's biggest hits. They had earned little during the earliest episodes, but by the final season JWoww was reportedly receiving around $100,000 per episode. Snooki, Pauly D, and The Situation were reportedly earning even more.
The original "Jersey Shore" ended in December 2012 after six seasons.
"Snooki & JWoww"
Even before "Jersey Shore" concluded, MTV recognized the popularity of JWoww and Snooki as a duo.
"Snooki & JWoww" premiered in June 2012. Rather than focusing primarily on partying, the spinoff followed the women as their lives shifted toward relationships, pregnancy, marriage, and motherhood.
The first season was filmed partly in a converted firehouse in Jersey City. JWoww's relationship with Roger Mathews became one of the show's central storylines, alongside Snooki's relationship with Jionni LaValle.
Mathews proposed to Farley in 2012 after the couple went skydiving, and their engagement was incorporated into the series. "Snooki & JWoww" ultimately ran for four seasons and more than 50 episodes before ending in 2015.
The friends later returned with the digital series "Snooki & JWoww: Moms with Attitude," which focused on their experiences raising children.
"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation"
In 2018, Farley reunited with most of the original cast for "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation."
Rather than attempting to recreate the original series exactly, the revival followed the cast as adults dealing with marriages, divorces, children, businesses, health problems, and other major life changes while continuing to travel and vacation together.
Farley's divorce from Roger Mathews, relationship with Zack Carpinello, children's lives, business projects, and eventual filmmaking career all became part of her storyline.
The revival proved remarkably durable. It ran for eight years and hundreds of episodes, keeping JWoww and the rest of the original cast on MTV long after anyone could reasonably have expected the original 2009 reality experiment to continue.
"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" aired its series finale on September 3, 2026. The cast returned to the original Seaside Heights house for one final gathering and Sunday dinner, ending nearly 17 years of "Jersey Shore" television.
Other Television and Business Ventures
Farley used the enormous visibility generated by "Jersey Shore" to pursue a wide range of business and media projects.
Early in her fame, she launched the clothing line Filthy Couture. The brand encountered trademark problems and stopped selling merchandise only a few months after its debut.
She also developed tanning products with Australian Gold and released the book "The Rules According to JWOWW: Shore-Tested Secrets on Landing a Mint Guy, Staying Fresh to Death, and Kicking the Competition to the Curb."
Farley's other television appearances have included "TNA Impact!," "Disaster Date," and "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars." In 2015, she won "Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition."
She also starred in and executive produced the independent film "The Mint."
Farley later returned to apparel through Heavenly Flower, a clothing and lifestyle brand she developed with inspiration from her daughter Meilani. The company sells shirts, sweatshirts, accessories, and other merchandise, including products referencing Farley's "Jersey Shore" persona.
Film Directing
Farley began pursuing a substantially different creative career during the 2020s: directing horror films.
Her feature directing debut was "Devon," a found-footage horror movie about a group investigating the disappearance of a girl from an abandoned asylum. Farley wrote, directed, and produced the project, which was acquired by Cineverse and released through its Screambox streaming service in 2024.
The subject was a natural fit for Farley, who has described herself as a longtime horror fan.
She followed "Devon" with "Nanny Cam," a psychological thriller starring Katie Cassidy. Farley again served as writer and director. The story centers on a new mother who begins seeing disturbing events through the cameras inside her home and questions whether she is experiencing a mental breakdown or something supernatural.
Farley drew partly on her own experiences with motherhood and her childhood while developing the story.
The transition from reality-TV personality to writer-director became an important storyline during the final seasons of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation." By the time the series ended, she had directed two feature films.
Marriage to Roger Mathews
Farley and Roger Mathews began dating before "Jersey Shore" made him a recurring presence on television. They became engaged in September 2012.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Meilani Alexandra Mathews, on July 13, 2014. Jenni and Roger married in New Jersey on October 18, 2015. During their wedding celebration, they announced that they were expecting another child.
Their son, Greyson Valor Mathews, was born on May 5, 2016.
Farley filed for divorce in September 2018 after nearly three years of marriage. The separation became highly contentious at times and included public allegations from both sides. Their divorce was finalized in August 2019.
Despite the difficult breakup, Farley and Mathews subsequently developed a co-parenting relationship centered around their two children.
Greyson's Autism and Advocacy
Greyson was diagnosed with autism at age two after Farley noticed delays in his speech and development.
Farley began documenting portions of his progress and became increasingly involved in advocating for children and adults with sensory needs. Her family eventually connected with KultureCity, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving accessibility for people with autism and other invisible disabilities.
Farley later joined KultureCity's board of directors.
Her advocacy has included promoting sensory rooms and other accommodations at arenas, airports, sporting events, and entertainment venues. A sensory room at Barclays Center in Brooklyn was named for Greyson after the family had previously been forced to leave an event there when he became overwhelmed by the environment.
Farley has described seeing Greyson become able to enjoy major public events with proper sensory accommodations as one of the most meaningful developments in their lives.

Zack Carpinello
Following her separation from Mathews, Farley began dating professional wrestler Zack Carpinello in 2019. He is several years younger than Farley, which led her "Jersey Shore" castmates to nickname him "24."
The relationship briefly ended in 2019 after an incident filmed for "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation," but Farley and Carpinello subsequently reconciled.
Carpinello proposed on Farley's 35th birthday in February 2021 at the Empire State Building.
After a five-year engagement, the couple devised an elaborate surprise wedding. On June 24, 2026, they invited roughly 50 friends and relatives to what guests believed was a private screening of Farley's movie "Nanny Cam." When everyone arrived at the venue in Old Bridge, New Jersey, Farley and Carpinello revealed that they had actually been invited to their wedding.
Farley's children Meilani and Greyson participated in the ceremony, along with several of her "Jersey Shore" castmates.
The following month, Jenni and Zack held a second, smaller wedding celebration during a trip to Lake Como, Italy.
Real Estate
In 2011, Farley paid $685,000 for a home in Toms River, New Jersey. The property later became the home she shared with Roger Mathews and their children.
After the couple separated, Farley listed the Toms River house for approximately $1.35 million. It ultimately sold in December 2019 for $1.1 million, roughly $415,000 more than her original purchase price before accounting for renovations, selling costs, and other expenses.
During the summer of 2019, shortly before her divorce from Mathews was finalized, Farley paid $1.95 million for a substantially larger home in Holmdel, New Jersey.
The roughly 2.5-acre property contains six bedrooms and six bathrooms and features a large kitchen, media room, billiards area, gym, wet bar, swimming pool, expansive patio, and covered outdoor entertaining space.
The purchase reflected both Farley's post-divorce fresh start and the substantial earnings she had accumulated through more than a decade of reality television and related businesses.
