Daisy Jessica Edgar-Jones was born on May 24, 1998, in London, England. She grew up in Islington in a media-oriented family. Her mother worked in film editing, and her father held senior roles at Sky, including head of entertainment. She attended The Mount School for Girls and later Woodhouse College, where she studied drama. She also trained with the National Youth Theatre in London.
Early Career
Edgar-Jones began acting on British television with a recurring role on "Cold Feet." She followed that with a lead role in the BBC and Fox adaptation of "War of the Worlds." These early projects gave her steady work but limited international exposure.
